1. [성경] 우리는 신구약성서가 하나님의 영감으로 이루어졌으며 성서만이 그리스도인의 신앙과 실천의 표준임을 믿는다. 

1. We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New testaments were given by inspiration of God, and that they only constitute the Divine rule of Christian faith and practice.

 

2. [하나님] 우리는 유일하시고 완전하신 하나님만이 만물의 창조자, 보존자, 통치자이시며 예배의 참 대상이심을 믿는다. 

2. We believe that there is only on God, who is infinitely perfect, the Creator, Preserver, and Governor of all things, and who is the only proper object of religious worship.

 

3. [삼위일체] 우리는 하나님 안에 성부, 성자, 성령의 세 위가 있으며 이는 본질상 동일하시고 권능과 영광으로도 동등하심을 믿는다. 

3. We believe that there are three persons in the Godhead - the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, undivided in essence and co-equal in power and glory.

 

4. [예수 그리스도] 우리는 예수 그리스도의 인격 안에 신성과 인성이 합하여 있으며 그는 참 하나님이시고 참 인간이심을 믿는다. 

4. We believe that in the person of Jesus Christ the Divine and human natures are united, so that he is truly and properly God and truly and properly man.

 

5. [원죄] 우리는 인류의 시조가 본래 죄없이 창조되었으나 그들의 불순종으로 모든 사람이 죄인이 되고 전적으로 타락하여 정결과 행복을 잃고 하나님의 진노의 대상이 된 것을 믿는다. 

5. We believe that our first parents were created in a state of innocency, but by their disobedience they lost their purity and happiness, and that in consequence of their fall all men have become sinners, totally depraved, and as such are justly exposed to the wrath of God.

 

6. [속죄] 우리는 주 예수 그리스도께서 고난 받으시고 죽으심으로 인간의 죄를 대속하셨으니, 누구든지 그를 믿으면 구원받을 수 있음을 믿는다. 

6. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has by His suffering and death made an atonement for the whole world so that whosoever will may be saved.

 

7. [회개] 우리는 하나님께 회개하고 주 예수 그리스도를 믿고 성령으로 새로 나는 것은 구원에 필요한 것임을 믿는다. 

7. We believe that repentance towards God, faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, and regneration by the Holy Spirit, are necessary to salvation.

 

8. [이신칭의] 우리는 주 예수 그리스도를 믿음으로 은혜로 의롭다하심을 얻으며 믿는 자마다 그 안에 증거를 갖게 됨을 믿는다. 

8. We believe that we are justified by grace through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and that he that believeth hath the witness in himself.

 

9. [지속하는 신앙] 우리는 구원의 상태의 지속은 그리스도 안에서 순종 하는 믿음을 계속 가져야 함을 믿는다. 

9. We believe that continuance in a state of salvation depends upon continued obedient faith in Christ.

 

10. [거룩함] 우리는 "온전히 거룩하게 되는 것"은 모든 신자의 특전이며 "저들의 심령과 영혼과 육체를 우리 주 예수 그리스도께서 다시 오시는 날까지 완전하고 흠없게 지켜주실 것"을 믿는다. (살전 5:23) 

10. We believe that it is the privilege of all believers to be wholly sanctified, and that their whole spirit and soul and body may be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

11. [영생과 영벌] 우리는 영원한 생명, 육체의 부활, 세상 끝의 총심판, 의인의 영원한 행복과 악인의 영원한 형벌을 믿는다.

11. We believe in the immortality of the soul; in the resurrection of the body; in the general judgement at the end of the world; in the eternal happiness of the righteous; and in the endless punishment of the wicked.
